Congestion Surcharge to/from Gothenburg

Dear customer,

Due to the labour conflict at Gothenburg port and as a consequence of increased density and congestion, we implemented a congestion fee (CFO/CFD) for Gothenburg in May.

Considering the current situation in Gothenburg and the market conditions, it has been decided to withdraw the Export Congestion Surcharge (CFO), setting the new levels at 0 USD per container, which is applicable to all export cargo in Sweden from September 1st 2017. It has been decided to keep the congestion fee on the import side, being maintained by the market, until further notice.

However, as the situation is still very volatile we reserve the right to re-implement the Export Congestion Surcharge with immediate effect if the situation escalates again.

We would like to take the opportunity to thank you for doing business with us. As a leading shipping line in the intra-European market, we strive to be your reliable shipping partner, propelling your business forward and supporting your growth ambitions.
